We decided to stop here after having passed it by on many previous trips. I am ashamed of myself for having been such a snob in the past. This little restaurant is a gem. The wait-staff was wonderful; attentive, informative and just plain fun. The food was excellent; she had the whole clam special and I had a western sandwich. The place was very clean and warm and welcoming. I will never pass Father's by again. As a matter of fact when I am in south eastern VT and I get a bit hungry, I may drive a little extra to go there.
